I remember the day I totally bombed at my first speaking gig.
I was determined to do whatever it takes to be good at it because I know that’s what separates the ordinary person from a champion.
I was not willing to settle.
I didn’t want to be mediocre.
And I met this man right here. Joel Bauer, the mentor’s mentor.
Joel not only taught me the art of speaking, gave me the confidence to get back on stage and speak in front of crowds of thousands and crushed my talk just by being myself.
Giving the best of me and delivering massive value to the audience who deserves what I have to offer.
I believe the importance of having a mentor in our life but choose your mentor wisely.
A mediocre mentor tells…
A good mentor explains…
A superior mentor demonstrates…
The greatest mentor inspires.
Find a mentor that inspires you to be the best version of yourself.
Joel has inspires me to be my best and to be a peer, to be able to impart my knowledge and experience and mentor him in return.
That was my biggest goal. That was my inspiration.
Just 2 months ago, we did our first event together in Los Angeles.
I want to inspire you and let you know that we all start somewhere.
Just because you didn’t succeed today, you didn’t do as well as you want today, it doesn’t mean that’s your destiny.
Take charge of your destiny and remember that every master was once a disaster. If I can do it, so can you.
I believe in you.
