The numbers are shocking.
I recently documented a case study of why it’s not about the views but what you do with them that actually matters.
I get it.
It’s not easy to create content and put it out there. I questioned myself when I first started out.
“What do I post today?”
“What video should I create?”
“Where do I even begin…”
Then I started looking at the explore section on Instagram and before I know it, 3 hours have passed.
Have you ever done that too?
This is what I see on Instagram. There are a lot of people posting cats and dogs videos but failed to monetize.
I call these people “broke influencers”; people who have a ton of followings, a ton of views, and a ton of likes but they have no idea what to do with them.
Then I questioned myself on WHY am I doing this?
“Am I doing this for the likes?”
“Am I doing this so that I can get recognition from others?”
“Am I doing this so that when a stranger bumps into me, he/she would want to take a picture with me?”
What is the purpose of getting views?
I know your struggle. I was once in the same shoes, and I figured views only make sense if there’s some sort of monetization.
And… that’s the reality!
In this recent case study, I revealed the two steps required to building a real business with an audience.
