I am gonna be talking about how to re frame your thinking on moments where you don’t feel like doing anything.
The struggle is real. I know.
You have a massive list of things that needs to be done. You find yourself sitting there with no motivation to get started. This is normal. It happens to most of us on a day to day basis. But these are the days that matter most. The days when you don’t feel like training, where you don’t feel like waking up or where you don’t feel like staying up late. These are the days that makes all the difference.
I was struck with no warning just earlier today, that I didn’t feel like hitting the gym. It just feels more like a chore I rather forget. But remember what commitment is. It requires you to take action in spite of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. And this can enhance your productivity by reminding yourself to do what you say you are going to do. Everything is in your mind. If your mind is telling you not to do it. Simply just trick your mind by starting on the one task you are trying to avoid doing. We all know that getting started is the hardest part. But I assured you. Don’t be overwhelmed.
I want you to keep in mind that, each time you are feeling lazy or demotivated, and by tricking yourself from doing it. You are growing to a better version of yourself. That reason alone should be all the more you do it. So, I would like you to remind yourself that these are the moments that separates great leaders or successful individual from ordinary people.
At the end of the day, remember that the days where you don’t feel like doing anything. These are the days that matter. Ultimately, it will make all the difference in your life.
