Do you know how I made my money online?
It’s no secret.
I picked a niche based on my passion and wrote about it.
Back then I was gaming 24/7. So I wrote game guides. Slapped on a low price tag (around $17). Put it up on Clickbank. Got affiliates to market it for me. And made a lot of money.
It’s really that simple.
But it wasn’t until a couple years back that I found the one trick to increase a product’s value instantly.
You see, whatever your niche is, I guarantee that there are thousands if not millions of digital products created for it.
So the question is, how do you position yourself ahead of the pack?
Well here’s a little known trick that will instantly increase your product’s value…
Videos.
I absolutely love videos.
And there are two huge reasons why.
1. Repurpose & Sell it Twice!
Videos are a great tool to repurpose content that has already been created.
For example, I hold my signature seminar “Internet Income Intensive” three times a year.
It’s a 3-day workshop where my students gather, learn the theory and put it into practice on the spot. By the end of the seminar, it’s my personal guarantee that every single person will have accomplished at least one sale.
So during the seminar I have my team set up a video camera at the back of the room, filming every second of it.
After conducting the 3-day event I am now left with a full video of everything I taught my students.
Immediately I can take it for editing and boom!
I have a complete digital product on how to make money online in video form.
From a locally held live seminar, I’ve repurposed it into a digital course that can be sold worldwide.
So that’s the power of video.
Think about the e-book you’re creating right now.
You can sell it for around $17 to $27.
Then film yourself, or someone else, teaching that material.
And you can sell that for around $47 or more.
That brings me to the second reason why I love videos.
2. Higher Perceived Value
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again.
Videos have a higher perceived value than text.
It takes more effort and time to write 10,000 words than to film yourself talking for 5 minutes, yet people automatically view video as more valuable.
So immediately your product is going to be worth more to the consumer. Think low cost, high returns.
This is the easiest way to differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack.
It doesn’t have to reach Hollywood standards.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Here’s a screenshot of me messing up on video. I’m so sexy.
You’ve seen my videos. It’s literally just me and my video cam. After a few takes I’ll pick the best one, cut the beginning where I walk from the back of the camera to the front, and the end where I walk from the front to the back, and that’s it.
So invest some time to make videos.
It’s worth it.
