Especially now during the pandemic, the business will close for even longer in which sales will eventually stop and the business ultimately collapses. But if you have traffic, whether offline or online, it will act as your life preserver and protect you during this time as the economy shifts. - Your new opportunity
Traffic is your new opportunity. The most valuable skill that anybody can have in business is to be able to get customers in the door. If you’re good at getting traffic through the door of any business, you can literally go up to any business owner and say “I can bring traffic in for you”. This is essential for business owners because they know that their products or services they provide will go to waste if there aren’t any prospects.

1. The untapped traffic source (that is hidden in plain sight) that almost everyone is missing, yet is worth MORE than ANY other traffic source online COMBINED.
3 Types of traffic
i. Traffic that you control (buy your way in)
Traffic that you control is basically paying somebody for traffic (google ads, facebook ads, youtube ads, etc), buying ads
ii. Traffic that you earn (work your way in)
In order to get traffic that you earn, you basically need to work your way in by asking people with a lot of viewers/subscribers/followers whether they can interview you or appear on their page (see if you’re worthy enough or qualified)
iii. Traffic that you own (your list)
Traffic that you own is your email list, basically it’s your personal list that already knows about you and purchased from you before
If you don’t have a list, you might be wondering how to create one. It’s fairly simple. All you need to do is create a lead magnet. Do something simple and basic, for example, giving them something for free in exchange for their email. Get their contact information in return and this is how you build your list.
Another way to drive traffic is to create a subscriber reviver sequence. What this does is it reminds them of who you are and consequently add them to your list so in the future they will actually purchase something from you
Your sequence should include:
- Who you are
- What you do
- How you do it
- How you learned it
- Who do you do it for
- How can you do it for them
2. The secret “breakeven” funnel that makes ALL my traffic… BETTER than FREE
Would you believe me if I told you front end funnels make traffic better than free? It reduces ad costs, which is how much it takes to sell a product. When people actually go to the funnel (front end funnels), you make an average amount higher than your ad costs for every single person who buys it, thus making it ‘better than free’. Also another reason why you should have front end funnels is to build your list!
3. How to get the exact SAME customers who are currently going to your competitors funnels… to start coming to YOUR funnel instead
There are many ways for you to do this. One of them includes going to this website, ClickBank.com to find a good funnel to model after and how much money they’re making. Similarly, you can also check out this website www.SimilarWeb.com to see where their traffic is coming from. They will show you the traffic overview of your competitors’ funnels.

To summarise, building your list is crucial when it comes to generating traffic. The most important thing to know is the traffic that you own, which is your list, because this is how you reach out to them and get them into your funnels. But don’t just end it there, not following up with people that are on your list is also a mistake most people make. It’s always a good idea to retain a lifetime value of a customer than constantly having to find new customers to sell your products to. The majority amount of money that businesses make is in a follow up funnel. Drive traffic that you control and earn into a funnel so that you don’t have to spend more money to acquire customers than anybody else.
