The Internet connection was a bit wonky, but everyone loved it and we had a real blast.
So here are the main points of my live Periscope lesson in Vietnam:
First things first – before you can even start making money on Periscope, you need to have a product to promote.
That’s the first thing you need to decide before doing anything else.
When it comes to products, you have two main choices:
- You can sell your own product and keep 100% of the profits
- You can decide to sell someone else’s product in exchange for a commission
Either option is fine (and you can even choose to do both at the same time), but most importantly, you need to have a product.
How To Make Money From Periscope
So by this point, you should have a product that you want to promote on Periscope.
Now, here’s how you can really use Periscope to rake in the big bucks:
The secret: You need to have a traffic strategy.
You need the ability to drive traffic to your offer/website.
In this case, your traffic strategy is Periscope.
So here’s what you want to do: Every time you do a live scope, you need to have a call to action.
You need to tell people what to do next. One of the best calls-to-action is to drive people to your website.
How do you do this?
Well, at the end of your scope, you tell them:
“If this scope has brought you value, and you’re interested in learning more, visit my website at www.yourdomainname.com.”
And that’s it!
So to recap, in order for you to make money on Periscope:
- You need to have a product to promote
- You need a traffic strategy to drive people to your offer/website through a call to action
