Hey guys!
Here’s my latest scope – taken just after boarding a Qatar Airways flight for San Diego, with two stops in between.
The flight lasted about 30 hours. Let me tell you, there are very few things quite as draining as a really long flight.
So I thought I’d quickly share with everyone what I do to survive 30-hour flights.
4 Essentials For Surviving Long Flights
1. Noise-cancelling earphones
Pretty self-explanatory.
The ones I use are from Bose. You can see them in the video.
They’re top of the line, and what sets them apart from other brands out there is because of this one cool function: the ability to cancel white noise.
I just need to press a button and turn it on, and all the white noise disappears.
2. Laptop
I bring my laptop along always, and try to get some work done.
Most of the time I don’t manage to work while flying though, mainly because I need Wi-Fi, and while most airlines do provide that now, it’s usually costly, slow, and only about a few hundred MB worth.
So I mostly try to adjust and get some sleep on the flight, or watch movies.
But if you’re one of those who prefers to work while travelling, this is a pretty essential item to bring along.
3. Sleeping Mask
For sleeping, of course.
I’m a very light sleeper, so it really helps to have a mask to block out lights and peripheral movement.
4. Earplugs
To go with the sleeping mask, it helps to have a pair of earplugs to really block out all sounds as you sleep.
Some of you may prefer to sleep with music on, which is also fine.
And that’s it!
So, I’m off to San Diego. I’ll be travelling in the US for about a month, attending seminars and shooting videos.
It’s going to be a real blast, and I can’t wait to touch down.
As always, I love hearing from you, so do drop a comment below.
I’ll see you in the next post!
