I guess it’s safe to say that I’ve been in the Internet Marketing business for quite awhile now
What I’ve observed through the years is that there are some things that never change. Back then, when I was new to the business, I was constantly worried about whether my content was good enough to be sold. Even now, I concern myself with constantly adding value.
The reason why I brought this up is because a close friend of mine and also my roommate during my University days asked me if all my content was original. My answer to him was “Yes” and “No”.
Is it absolutely original?
Has no one else come up with the same idea?
Nope.
At the same time, whatever I’ve written and put into every product of mine is based on my story and experience and has never been released to the world. So yes, it is original.
When everything has been said and done, when the Internet Marketing world has run out of ideas, can we even say anything is original content?
Let me explain my stance on that.
So long as you place your experience and perspective on the content that you’re providing to the people you’re providing content to, it’s original content. Additionally, it’s content that no one else will have access to. Hence, don’t worry about having content that you feel isn’t “Original” enough.
In my next follow-up, I’ll expand a little on how using original content affects us as Internet Marketers.
