Last weekend I held my signature seminar – Internet Income Intensive.
It’s basically a workshop where participants can follow me step-by-step as I guide them through the entire process of making money online. The foundation of the seminar is a system that I actually use on a day to day basis to generate my personal income. I call it:
The Silent Sales Machine.
Step 1: Identify a Profitable Niche
Now this can go either way. Some people take too much time thinking about what their niche should/could/would be, that they get stuck. And never move forward. Alternately others rush through this without a second thought and midway through they realize they’re in a niche that doesn’t fit them. And so they quit.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of picking the right niche for you.
Notice that I didn’t say the “best” niche. Because in truth, there is no such thing. I’ve dabbled in a lot of different niches. Had success in some where others have failed, and failed in others where some have succeeded.
The key to identifying a profitable niche is:
- Picking your passion. Think of your hobbies, interests, things that drive you and make you happy.
- Aligning it with what the market wants. Ideally your passion should be related to health, wealth, success, technology, beauty, happiness, sex, relationships, spirituality or personal development.
When you have a personal passion that can be combined with the mass market, then you have a profitable niche.
Of course there are tools that I suggest and method to really pinpoint the right niche for you.
Step 2: Publish Fresh and Unique Content
The next step is to set up your website and start creating content.
I showed participants how to create pages and publish posts. This may seem really simple to you guys. But there was once a participant who didn’t know how to copy/paste.
We all have to start somewhere right?
So the goal of this step is to build a relationship of trust with readers. Connect with your audience and establish yourself as an authoritative brand.
Step 3: Product Promotion
Now I have always said that in order to really make money online, you have to position yourself as a vendor and create your own products.
Not only will this establish you as an authority, but it’s massive passive income on a long term basis.
Although the idea of creating a product may seem daunting, in truth if I can do it, anyone can. I’ve even produced products in niches I know nothing about.
As a basic template, your product can be divided into three parts.

- Why
- How
The What and the Why take up 20% of the product, and the 80% focuses completely on the How.
Step 4: Get Targeted Traffic
Traffic, traffic, traffic.
It’s what every aspiring marketer wants, but the thing is, most don’t know what to do with it.
Solid backlinking techniques, legit SEO, press releases, video marketing and more. I cover a ton of traffic generation strategies that I’ve used consistently to great success.
But at the heart of it all is value.
I could get all the traffic I want to this blog, both paid and free, if I wanted to. But if my content sucked and I gave back nothing to the traffic that was coming in, all efforts would be wasted.
So yes, implement all the traffic generation techniques there are. But always be sure that the site you’re driving your targeted traffic to is worth it.
Step 5: Automate
This is my favorite step. Because it means you’re closing the cycle which will repeat continuously for as long as you want.
And it also means passive income.
To run the entire system on autopilot. And you get payment notifications coming into your inbox at all hours of the day, without having to do a thing. Even late at night while you’re snug in bed and off to lala-land.
How many of you would like to get paid to sleep?
I know I would. And I do.
Because my system is automated.
