Ever notice how lonely the entrepreneur’s journey can be?
I know mine used to be, especially when I first got started. I often felt isolated.
It’s not that I didn’t have people close to me I could share things with.
It’s that telling them about most of the wins in my business felt like bragging.
It’s natural to want to celebrate your successes, yet sharing with non-entrepreneur family and friends that you just had your first $10K day, or your first $100K launch, isn’t the same as sharing that kind of news with other entrepreneurs.
In your entrepreneurial journey there’s going to be a lot of little wins. They might not seem like much at the time, but what you’ve got to remember is that the massive victories you experience are simply an accumulation of all those smaller wins.
And if there’s one thing those lonely early days taught me, it’s that having people in your life with whom you can share those wins is huge.
Because without people to share those wins with, big OR small, it’s so easy to get so focused on achieving your “big goals” that you lose touch with how far you’ve come.
When that happens, your motivation can suffer. Or you might spend a lot of time pointlessly beating yourself up because you’re not yet where you want to be.
So if you don’t have one already, get started creating an environment where you can share your wins (both the big AND the small ones).
And as soon as you can, fill it with people who will stretch you, push you, get you out of your comfort zone, and keep you dreaming bigger.
Is there someone in your life you’re comfortable sharing your business wins with?
