For the longest time, people always ask me…
“Can I do this?”
“Should I start up my own business?”
“Can I be an entrepreneur?”
My answer to those questions have always been yes.
But the longer I’m in this journey, the more I realize that entrepreneurship is in fact, not for everyone.
There are 2 reasons why entrepreneurship may not be for everyone.
#1 – They Have to Spend Long Hours Working on The Business
The first reason why I say that is because, so many people want to start their own business for the wrong reasons – They want to start their own business because they want to be their own boss so that they can have more time.
The thing is, when you start an online or offline business, you’re going to realize that you’re going to have to be prepared to work at least 16 hours a day.
Sure, eventually, you’ll be able to have more time but at the start, you have to be prepared to work 60, 70 or even 80 hours a week.
#2 – They Have to Sacrifice The Things That They Like
The second reason why not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur is because there are going to be a ton of late nights.
You will have to sacrifice going out partying with your friends and stay up all night.
I believe that it’s important to find out what’s right for you. If you decide that you’re willing to pay the price and sacrifice, then I believe that the pay off is there.
But if all you want is stability and a predictable paycheck every single month, then entrepreneurship is not for you.
Find out what works for you, the lifestyle you want to live and go all in.
